B.O.S.S.

RULES AND JUDGING

BoSS - Battle of Supreme Swag, will feature 4 rounds of 1 on 1 heads up play
(Swiss-System Tournament), followed by a series of playoff matches determined
by a top 8 single-elimination bracket. Prizes will be awarded to the top 8 contestants,
including $100's in cash, Products and Store Credit!
          BASIC RULES
  • Competitors must introduce themselves at the start of each match
  • No maximum of lights in 1 pair of gloves
  • Glove sets can be switched between different trading rounds
  • No other props are allowed besides gloves and microlights
  • 5 points will be deducted from your round score if you are late for your match
  • Automatic loss if you are more than 10 minutes late to your match
  • 5 points will be deducted if you do not register by 1:00PM at the store
          ADDITIONAL RULES
  • Absolutely no touching of the glover you are trading with
  • Each round will be 1 minute and 30 seconds long of trading for each glover
  • Music will depend on DJ set times and rounds. We will coordinate to give a mix of several genres of EDM music throughout the first 4 rounds of trading.
  • Match pairings will be posted shortly after each round
  • Feature match will be played lastly in each round (featuring 1 match per round) 
          PLAY OFF RULES
  • Playoff rounds will be 2 minutes long for each round, except for finals
  • Music will depend on DJ set times and rounds, except for finals
  • 3 Judges for each playoff match for top 8 matches

       OVERALL RULES
  • Zero tolerance for fighting and intoxication
  • No Draws/Ties
  • Judges make the final decision
